We invite guests to enjoy three weeks of celebration of the innovation of Thomas Edison and the quality of life of our host City of Fort Myers.
			52nd Annual Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival March 13th and March 14th, 2010 Where: Fort Myers Beach Website: www.fortmyersbeachshrimpfestival.com Sponsored by: The Fort Myers Beach Lions Foundation March 1st - Shrimp Festival Queens Ball 7-10pm March 6th - Shrimp Festival Kid's Run The first Shrimp Festival was held in 1959. Prior to that an event called "Beach Day" was held on the Sunday after the Edison Festival of Light Parade in Fort Myers in mid-February. St Raphael's Episcopal Church sponsored the Blessing of the Shrimp Fleet which was held on the Beach Pier, and sold Shrimp Rolls in the County Park on the Beach. In addition to its valuable efforts to promote local services, the FMB360 website is aggressive in presenting a very visual and meaningful display of photographic and informational content to all website visitors. The FMB360 website provides many looks of Fort Myers Beach from various perspectives.
